End up, didn't delete blog.

I ended up not deleting 'Boring life brought to you by Stryker'. Instead, i just changed the name to 'Stryker's Videos and Tall Tales' and the URL to justsoyouremember.blogspot.com so it more rememberable.

Deleting Strykerwsp

I am deleting my first blog 'Boring life brought to you by Stryker', cause its more or less dead and its URL is kinda hard for "some people" to remember. I hate writing, I only like it if other people appriciate my work. I prefer to let my photos do the talking (mentioned that in the last post), so this will me my only blog, unless i make a new one (thinking of making Strykersvedios, hmm...). This is also my first post on Stryker's Pix whitout a pix. Expect more. Not a lot though. Out.

Student Exchange Programme

On the 9th-11th of february, my school, Sekolah Sri Garden had our 4th Malaysia-Japan Cultural and Educational Exchange programme. Since its my last year in this school I figured I might just as well get involed. So I hosted 15 year old, Junpei Yamawaki form Hukuryo High School. You know what, I'll just let the pictures do the telling, I am not good at writing anyways...

They came.


We met.


They showed.





We played.

He saw.


He shopped.

He 'wowed'.


He met his friend.


He looked.

Picasa is a great fun to use, its a basic picture editor, with some basic functions like colour adjustment, contrast, some effects, and collage making. You can't wipe blemishes with it and its a far cry from Photoshop, but heck, its FREE!! and it dosen't reguire much juice.

Flora

My dad loves gardening. Stuff with produce, like vegies and fruits trees. I don't share the love, but i like trees, and photograping them. Check these out.

I love this one, its in my dad's teak wood plantation in Alor Gajah.
Its the only tree they didn't cut down to make space for the teak trees.


Check out the bend on this one. This one is in my school field.
Its so low to the ground i can walk up it, literally.


This one looks kinda like sakura. This one is in my neighbourhood.


The leaves are almost gone. Pretty eh.


Boy this guy got lotsa cleaning to do cause of this tree,
its a fair price i guess for its beauty.


This is my dad Longan tree in my garden.


It fruits so much that i am kinda tired of eating Longan....

For those of you that thought grapes are impossble in kl,
I have it in my backyard, hah.


These are wine grapes, the flesh slips out of the skin when you bite them.


I even have Dragon fruit (Pitaya) in my house.


The Dargon fruit flower only blooms at midnight.


This is Brazilian Longan, so they say.


Here is the tree. My brother calls it 'Beanstalk'.

Each is about ping-poing size, taste a bit like vanilla.

Thats about it. If you are still asking why I still haven't post my China photos yeat, 7 megapixel photos take forever to load. A little bit of advise, higher megapixels dosen't mean better photos, 80% of the photos you see here is taken with my phone, 2 megapixels. I WANT A NIKON D40!!!
